Diana Vozian

Counselor and Art Therapist

If you find yourself lost for words when it comes to expressing yourself or if you struggle in understanding yourself and the world around you, art therapy may help you explore your internal world more easily.

When traditional talk therapies may feel intimidating, art therapy offers a safe space to express yourself in a non-verbal way. In art therapy, visual images, metaphors, and verbal communication are used for introspection. No artistic skill is required to benefit from this form of therapy, all you need is the desire to create from the provided materials of your choice.

My experience has been built by working in collaboration with my clients: from children to older adults, including people with developmental disabilities. If you choose to work with me, I promise to gently guide and support you through your journey to wellbeing and help you lean on your strengths and create new coping skills. My main goal is to show my clients how their thoughts, feelings, and experiences can be safely expressed, understood, and transformed through their creativity.

Let’s allow your artwork to speak for you and with you. I believe anyone can be the artist of their journey of well-being.

Training and Credentials

I am a professional art therapist trained to use the therapeutic qualities of art making to improve the quality of life and well-being of my clients. Art therapy shows positive results associated with coping with stress, anxiety, and depression. Please note that art therapy has been proven to effectively help participants cope with emotional distress,
but it cannot replace psychotherapy, if you need treatment for a mental health disability or are experiencing significant psychological distress please consult with a licensed psychologist from our team.
